Community Event

This space is curated to create content that will inspire a community where everyone comes together to share anti-violence as a core value.

We are growing our community and matching members with supportive circles to help navigate their social justice journey or even their academic career. As we create spaces we will also strive to create content as well as events that promote intersectional justice and decolonial politics

Personal Advocacy

Stand firm in your relationship with yourself.

We can have a tendency to put the comfort of others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect our relationship with ourselves. This process is called self-abandonment and can cause us to re-victimize ourselves when faced with cultures of where oppression is a constant. In hostile environments moral support goes a long way. Sometimes we need a little validation and support from a social justice informed peer. We can’t administer medical services and want everyone to see a therapist regularly so that’s not what we offer. What we can do is what any friend (with a graduate degree in gender, race, and sexuality studies) would do.

Let us be your advocates and listen to you while you find an affirming way to treat the most important person in your life. That’s you, of course.

“Elizabeth taught me so much about a subject I thought I was already an expert on myself! I wanted everyone to have the type of community we share”
